|The queen olive variety of Apulia|
|To try on Caprese|
The Peranzana olive cultivar is undoubtedly one of the spearheads of all olive growing in Puglia, typical of an area considered for centuries to be among the absolute best for olive cultivation. The Peranzana olive grows in the Tavoliere delle Puglie, in a lush land kissed by the sun and the sea. It seems to have been introduced by a noble Apulian family several centuries ago, and since it landed in Puglia, the Peranzana and its oil have found their natural habitat.
Lidia Antonacci’s monovarietal Peranzana oil is made using totally natural methods that allow the full essence of the earth to be found in the oil.
On the nose there are fresh herbaceous scents and scents of artichoke, tomato leaf and almond, all typical crops of the Tavoliere.
To the taste, bitterness and spiciness are present but balanced with each other.
In the kitchen, its characteristics make Peranzana oil capable of enhancing white meats, cooked vegetables and salads, bruschetta and fish. For an all-Apulian pairing, you absolutely must try it with a mozzarella and fresh tomato Caprese!
INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS
INGREDIENTS: Olives of the Peranzana variety.
The benefits you can get from a very pure, high-quality Italian extra virgin olive oil are many: thanks to the high presence of polyphenols and oleocanthal, the main culprits responsible for that pungency and bitterness that made us fall in love with it, EVO oil has very high anti-inflammatory properties that make it a real natural medicine; the presence of almost exclusively monounsaturated fats allow EVO oil to go to reduce cholesterol, thanks to regular consumption over time; finally, Italian green gold has a considerable amount of vitamins, particularly group D, which are excellent for the heart, immune system and bones, and group E, called youth vitamins, thanks to their ability to act on cells by slowing down the aging of skin, hair and the whole body.
A last but very important benefit: it will make you dream thanks to its Mediterranean scents and its always-to-be-discovered taste!
We receive your order, prepare it and ship it in 24/36 hours.
We are aware that excellent products need excellent packaging and at the same time we cannot risk damaging in any way the precious Italian culinary jewels: for this reason, our warehouse is equipped with temperature and lighting ideal for food preservation and the most delicate ones (cheeses, cold cuts and craft beers) are stored inside cold rooms. During shipping, on the other hand, each product is protected with the packaging most appropriate to its characteristics.
Cheeses and cured meats, which despite being aged require special care, travel accompanied by a special slow-release gel ice inside isothermal bags: in this way freshness is preserved until the goods arrive at your home.
For our craft beers, which are unpasteurized and therefore more sensitive to high temperatures than normal, we use a special isothermal bubble wrap, which can ensure that the accumulated cold is maintained for the shipping time while protecting the bottles from shocks.
To secure the precious bottles of Italian wine, we have equipped ourselves with special inflatable bags, designed solely for the purpose of immobilizing and protecting this product inside the box.
For jars containing a thousand Italian goodnesses, we use special protective bubble wrap liners.
