PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Taggiasca olive is the legendary olive cultivar native to the Riviera Ligure di Ponente, possible only in this land because of its unique microclimate. Enrico Novaro’s centuries-old olive trees grow at heights ranging from 60 meters above sea level to as high as 800 meters, all while always looking out to sea. The magic of this olive comes from the very environment in which it grows, taking advantage of the altitude, the slope of the land, and the Ligurian sun and sea.
Novaro’s monocultivar Taggiasca oil is obtained by cold pressing in its small mill solely of Taggiasca olives.
On the nose it has its typical scents of almond, fresh grass and artichoke.
On the palate the freshness, delicate bitterness and spiciness are in perfect balance with each other.
In the kitchen it is ideally paired with fish and delicate dishes in general; it can also be appreciated with a simple pasta in white, to be able to fully enjoy this fantastic cultivar.
INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS
INGREDIENTS: Taggiasca cultivar olives.
The benefits that can be obtained from a very pure, high-quality Italian extra virgin olive oil are many: thanks to the high presence of polyphenols and oleocanthal, the main culprits responsible for that pungency and bitterness that made us fall in love with it, EVO oil has very high anti-inflammatory properties that make it a real natural medicine; the presence of almost exclusively monounsaturated fats allow EVO oil to go to reduce cholesterol, thanks to regular consumption over time; finally, Italian green gold has a considerable amount of vitamins, particularly group D, which are excellent for the heart, immune system and bones, and group E, called youth vitamins, thanks to their ability to act on cells by slowing down the aging of skin, hair and the whole body.
A last but very important benefit: it will make you dream thanks to its Mediterranean scents and its always-to-be-discovered taste!
SHIPPING
We receive your order, prepare it and ship it in 24/36 hours.
We are aware that excellent products need excellent packaging and at the same time we cannot risk damaging in any way the precious Italian culinary jewels: for this reason, our warehouse is equipped with temperature and lighting ideal for food preservation and the most delicate ones (cheeses, cold cuts and craft beers) are stored inside cold rooms. During shipping, on the other hand, each product is protected with the packaging most appropriate to its characteristics.
Cheeses and cured meats, which despite being aged require special care, travel accompanied by a special slow-release gel ice inside isothermal bags: in this way freshness is preserved until the goods arrive at your home.
For our craft beers, which are unpasteurized and therefore more sensitive to high temperatures than normal, we use a special isothermal bubble wrap, which can ensure that the accumulated cold is maintained for the shipping time while protecting the bottles from shocks.
To secure the precious bottles of Italian wine, we have equipped ourselves with special inflatable bags, designed solely for the purpose of immobilizing and protecting this product inside the box.
For jars containing a thousand Italian goodnesses, we use special protective bubble wrap liners.
