The Pinot Noir grapes that give life to “Argical,” Aurelio and Emilio Del Bono’s all-natural, zero-dosage Metodo Classico, grow on the hills of Franciacorta from the clay-limestone soils from which it takes its name. The Casa Caterina vines during their lives know no chemicals whatsoever, except for very small doses of copper and sulfur when strictly necessary.
“Argical” is magic in the bottle. 120 months of aging on its own yeasts and no added sugar after disgorging make this 100% Pinot Noir the most authentic representation of the terroir from which it comes, the magnificent Franciacorta. Aurelio and Emilio complete the all-natural work with negligible amounts of sulfur dioxide and no extra sulfites added.
The color is an intense straw yellow.
The aroma is firm and complex, with the classic bread crusts of the great aged Metodi Classici and fruity notes.
On the palate the taste is full, with the creaminess typical of sparkling wines with very fine perlage; the sip is very long, it seems never ending.
At the table “Argical” deserves to be tried at least once in a lifetime. We are aware that excellent products need excellent packaging and at the same time we cannot risk damaging in any way the precious Italian culinary jewels: for this reason our warehouse is equipped with temperature and lighting ideal for food preservation and the most delicate ones (cheeses, cold cuts and craft beers) are stored inside cold rooms. During shipping, on the other hand, each product is protected with the packaging most appropriate to its characteristics.
Cheeses and cured meats, which despite being aged require special care, travel accompanied by a special slow-release gel ice inside isothermal bags: in this way freshness is preserved until the goods arrive at your home.
For our craft beers, which are unpasteurized and therefore more sensitive to high temperatures than normal, we use special isothermal bubble wrap, which can ensure that the accumulated cold is maintained for the shipping time while protecting the bottles from shocks.
To secure the precious bottles of Italian wine, we have equipped ourselves with special inflatable bags, designed solely for the purpose of immobilizing and protecting this product inside the box.
