Pandoro in glass
“Our motto? Slow and well made.”
Traditional, artisanal Pandoro with innovative baking
Perfect for those who do not like Panettone
Scent of honey and real candied orange paste
Zabaglione with Zibibbo wine
WE CHOSE IT BECAUSE
Even those who prefer Pandoro must have a quality alternative
The Veneto leavened cake par excellence and antagonist of the famous Panettone, baked using an innovative and incredible technique. Stone-ground flour, fragrant butter from a centrifuge, honey, candied orange paste, eggs from free-range hens and the very few other ingredients of Baghi’s artisan Pandoro are blended and cooked in a jar to retain all the aromas in the glass.
When the jar is opened, all the Pandoro’s aromas are released as if it had just been baked. Soft and delicious, Pandoro under glass is perfect as an original gift or as a dessert at a romantic Christmas dinner. It is also an excellent alternative when, as is often the case, at the Christmas table most people prefer Panettone but you still want to please those on the Pandoro team: a small treat to be shared by 3 or 4 people.
And how to make this Christmas cake even more special? By accompanying it with a generous spoonful of warm Zabaglione in each bite!
INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS
INGREDIENTS: Stone-ground wheat flour, Fresh sourdough, Butter, Egg yolks from free-range hens, Water, Sugar, Candied orange paste, Honey, Cocoa butter, Salt, Madagascar vanilla
Who said sweets are bad for you? They’re bad for you when the raw materials are overpriced, dubiously sourced and not entirely natural. All this the guys at Baghi’s know and they work hard every day to seek out excellent ingredients to use in their cakes: live sourdough, stone-ground flour, fresh eggs from free-range chickens and butter obtained by centrifugation, a process that enhances their organoleptic and nutritional qualities.
Sweets with these characteristics are unique treats that can be tasted and enjoyed without too much concern for blood sugar or cholesterol. The important thing is always to prefer quality over quantity, only then can food be our medicine, capable of healing the body, mind and mood.
We receive your order, prepare it and ship it in 24/36 hours.
We are aware that excellent products need excellent packaging and at the same time we cannot risk damaging in any way the precious Italian culinary jewels: for this reason our warehouse is equipped with temperature and lighting ideal for food preservation and the most delicate ones (cheeses, cold cuts and craft beers) are stored inside cold rooms. During shipping, on the other hand, each product is protected with the packaging most appropriate to its characteristics.
Cheeses and cured meats, which despite being aged require special care, travel accompanied by a special slow-release gel ice inside isothermal bags: in this way freshness is preserved until the goods arrive at your home.
For our craft beers, which are unpasteurized and therefore more sensitive to high temperatures than normal, we use a special isothermal bubble wrap, which can ensure that the accumulated cold is maintained for the shipping time while protecting the bottles from shocks.
To secure the precious bottles of Italian wine, we have equipped ourselves with special inflatable bags, designed solely for the purpose of immobilizing and protecting this product inside the box.
For jars containing a thousand Italian goodnesses, we use special protective bubble wrap liners.
