Salted Ricotta is a specialty of southern Italy, particularly beautiful Sicily.
Caseificio Mangiapane makes it by mixing cow’s milk whey with sheep’s milk. The ricotta is left to rest a few days before salting, which is done exclusively by hand and with Sicilian coarse sea salt. Seasoning lasts for a period that can vary from 10 to 30 days, depending on the period of production.
A real delicacy that Liborio Mangiapane still produces in an artisanal way, Ricotta salata is perfect to be enjoyed throughout a meal or to make a variety of recipes, from traditional to more innovative ones: cannelloni, baked pasta or simple but very tasty spaghetti with tomato and basil.
You absolutely must try it in the famous Sicilian recipe for Pasta alla Norma, in which it is grated over a pasta with tomato sauce, basil and fried eggplant.

For our craft beers, which are unpasteurized and therefore more sensitive to high temperatures than normal, we use special isothermal bubble wrap, which can ensure that the accumulated cold is maintained for the shipping time while protecting the bottles from shocks.
To secure the precious bottles of Italian wine, we have equipped ourselves with special inflatable bags, designed solely for the purpose of immobilizing and protecting this product inside the box.
